Chanel L'Ete Papillon de Chanel Collecion for Summer 2013 Nail Colors

Happy Monday...can not believe that we are only a week away from Memorial Day!  Summer is almost here...and to welcome it in, I have the new summer collection from Chanel.  Three beautiful colors to welcome the warm weather in.

The L'Ete Papillon de Chanel Collection is inspired by the "dazzling colours of butterfly wings to inspire a joyful look for Summer".  The collection includes three beautiful nail colors, Chanel Azuré, Chanel Bel-Argus and Chanel Lilis.

Chanel Azuré is a shimmery blue-teal metallic that has slight duochrome tendencies.  It changes from the teal to more of a blue, depending on the light.  Azuré reminds me very much of a peacock and all the shimmery blue, teal, aqua colors that are associated with it.  Azuré is VERY easy to apply and here is two coats.

Chanel Bel-Argus is a shimmery bright medium toned blue that dries to a cool metallic cobalt blue chrome look.  This color is very interesting in person, in that it looks to have slightly darker edges...the bright blue slowly turns to a blurple and them a violet toward the edges of the nail.  Very cool.  Bel-Argus also covered easily with two coats.

Chanel Lilis is a beautiful perfect creamy coral with a slight jelly finish.  Lilis screams summertime.  Lilis also was easy to apply and I used three thin coats here.

Zoya Irresistible Collection for Summer 2013

Today, I have the second part of the Zoya Summer 2013 Collection...the Irresistible Collection.  This Irresistible Collection is composed of six beautiful shimmery metallic colors.

Zoya Rikki is described as a fern green metallic foil with some sporadic flake-like light bronze shimmer.  Rikki is full coverage with two easy coats.

Zoya Hazel is a warm slate blue metallic foil, also with a small flake-like bronze shimmer.  I absolutely ADORE Hazel!!!!  It's probably my favorite of the entire collection.   Here is two easy coats of Hazel.

Zoya Bobbi is a bright magenta metallic foil shimmer.  Bobbi is also very easy to apply and two coats are all you need for full coverage.

Zoya Tinsley is a warm rose metallic foil with a light golden shimmer.  Tinsley is a beautiful feminine color, easy to apply and perfect in just two coats.

Zoya Amy is a deep orange metallic foil, also with a golden shimmer.  Here is two easy coats of Amy.

Zoya Kerry is a sunny yellow gold metallic foil.  I didn't think I would like it when I first saw it, but once on the nail...it SCREAMS summer!!!  Kerry also gave easy coverage with just two coats.

Zoya 'Stunning' Collection for Summer 2013

Hello all!  To get all through hump day, I have the very fun Zoya Stunning Collection today.  I have been sporadically wearing these colors over the last month or so and am finally getting to writing about them.

The Zoya Stunning Collection is made up of six very fun, summery, luscious colors.

Zoya Josie is a nice grassy green creme.  It applied really nicely and was perfect with just two coats.

Zoya Rocky is a light turquoise creme.  Rocky also applied super smooth and here is two coats, as well.

Zoya Yana is a bright strawberry pink with a subtle silver shimmer.  A great summer shade that was easy to apply and here is two coats.

Zoya Micky is a creamy medium warm pink with a VERY subtle silver shimmer.  Here is two coats of Micky.

Zoya Thandie is a bright orange that reminds me of orange sherbet.  Thandie also has a subtle silver shimmer.  Here are two easy coats of Thandie.

Zoya Darcy is a bright sunflower yellow with a subtle golden shimmer.  Darcy is also an excellent summer color and here are two smooth coats of Darcy.

NARS Disco Inferno Nail Color

Today, I have the new NARS Spring 2013 nail color to show you.  I totally forgot that I had this one and just found it, so here it is.

For Spring 2013, NARS released Disco Inferno.  NARS Disco Inferno is described as an "iridescent silver green".  On the nail, it seems more of an iridescent silver that just changes from a light to a dark silver, with a slightest lavender duochorome.  Although, in the bottle there is a slight green and lavender duochorme effect, the green seems to get lost, once applied.  I did find a subtle silver shimmer within the color, on the nail.  Disco Inferno applies very sheer, at first.  I used three coats here.

NARS Madness Nail Color

Happy Monday!  Hope everyone had a GREAT weekend.  I've been cleaning and organizing like crazy...

Here's a great color to kick start this week off with, NARS Madness from the Summer 2013 Collection.  NARS Madness is bright vibrant orange jelly, PERFECTION for summer.  It applies very easily and I only used two coats here.  Since, it's a jelly, it has this cushy look to it.

L'Oreal Miss Pixie Nail Color

Hey!  I know I've been missing for a while.  It's been quite hectic around here...beyond busy!  We actually moved to a new house.  It has been a VERY insane experience, to say the least.  We actually had moved out of our old house two weeks ago and were homeless for five days.  So, we checked ourselves, the thee kids and four cats into an extended stay hotel and had all of our belongings packed up and stored on a 53 foot trailer.  Thankfully, that situation was only until last Wednesday.  So, we have officially been in the new place for a whopping 8 days!  I've been trying to unpack and resume to "normal".

Although, I'm not anywhere near completely unpacked, I couldn't wait anymore to show you all the new colors for the season.  Starting with this beauty today...L'Oreal Miss Pixie from the new L'Oreal Miss Candy Gellie Collection for Summer 2013.  This collection is made up of six beautiful fun bright summery colors, that all have a jelly finish to them.  When saw the display recently at my new Walgreens, I HAD to pick up L'Oreal Miss Pixie.

L'Oreal Miss Pixie is a beautiful royal blue in a true jelly finish.  It applies VERY easily and gives just a wash of color with one coat, but does build up nicely with each additional coat.  I ended up using four total here.  These are pics after a couple of days of wear and tear (i.e. unpacking)...and look at those horrible cuticles :/

Dior Nymphea Nail Color

Pretty blue today!  Dior Nymphea is exclusive to Saks Fifth Avenue stores and Dior boutiques.  Dior Nymphea is a very pretty pale, yet warm blue creme with jelly tendencies.  Nymphea applies slightly sheer with the first and second coat and builds up nicely after the third.  Here is three coats of Dior Nymphea.
