Today I have for you, my special birthday manicure. Deborah Lippmann's Brown Eyed Girl with a touch of Deborah Lippmann Superstar.
Brown Eyed Girl is a reddish brown with gold shimmer all through out the polish. In my bottle of Brown Eyed Girl, there is a nice vein of gold shimmer running right through the middle. I'm not usually a big fan of these types of colors, but, this one is DIVINE. Rich and luxurious.
It may just be that name...Brown Eyed Girl. I always associate it with the song made famous by Van Morrison. I was introduced to this particular tune back in college for being a brown eyed girl...and it takes me there each and every time, with fondness.

Yup, right back in college...
Anyone that knows me knows that nothing is complete without some sparkle. So, to make this manicure just a little bit "me"...we have Superstar! Another perfectly named polish for my special day.
Superstar is a dark brown based jelly with tons and tons of small copper colored glitter. I only had to use one nice coat to complete the look.
I completely covered the thumb nails and did a sparkly-y twist on a french on the ring fingers. Check it out.
There you have it...A Brown Eyed Girl Superstar! Describes me perfectly!
