LancĂ´me’s 2011 Fall Color Collection, named after its original Parisian boutique at 29 St. HonorĂ© , revisits the classic femme fatale era when timeless cult makeup products were born. This seductive color statement captures the glamour of the 1940s with luscious red lips and seductive smokey eyes.
This is Lancome's 29 Saint-Honore Collection for fall 2011 and when I recently saw it, I was instantly attracted to the black polish, Noir 29. The other one is a bright red, called Bang Bang Red. Since, I am not a big fan of reds and I already have a few across the red spectrum, it did not really call out my name. Now, Noir 29 was SCREAMING my name. A very nice young salesman did help me get my polish and also a great eyeliner, too (Black Lapis...which is not a black at all, but a dark muted teal color...hmmmmm). Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked by eyeliner.
Noir 29 is a limited edition color that is an absolutely GORGEOUS black polish with lots of copper colored large shimmer. The shimmer looks silver in the bottle...very odd. It is by far the BEST black nail polish I have ever tried and worn. I am completely in LOVE with this color. What makes this different from all the other black shimmer colors is that the shimmer is not silver, it is copper. It completely changes the look of the polish...gives it a nice warmth. This is definitely on my top ten of nail polish colors.

Noir 29 is available at selected Lancome counters for $15.00 (this is about half the size than the usual nail polish).
Until next time...
