So, when the colors finally came out, I quickly grabbed up Kismet and wasn't too sure about Ecume. I kept seeing Ecume and would pick it up and put it back. I must've done this about 10 times...finally, for one reason or another, I got Ecume.
I kept thinking that I would LOVE Kismet and be ho-hum with Ecume. Boy, was I wrong. Once, I wore them... I completely adored Ecume and found Kismet to be the boring one. I'm so glad that I finally gave in and got a bottle of Ecume for myself!
Ecume....of course, at first I thought it would be very an un-interesting white and would not look "right". As soon as it was on the nails, I was in love. It is definitely an opaque white, no sheerness here. A very "white" white, but that's what makes it perfect for the summer. This was three coats...as expected with chalky polishes...the first two were a little streaky, but, by the third coat, it was nice and even and very smooth.
From late spring and throughout the summer, they were available at Sephora and all major department stores with a NARS counter. Now, the fall collection is already out...and it DOES have a gorgeous fall color...Galion! Post coming soon!
Take a look at these...which one do you prefer?
First Kismet, it's a shimmery golden yellow. It reminds me what "golden" would be. This was three coats and it went on nice and smooth.

Here is my FAVORITE lunch...yellow cherry tomatoes with fresh mozzarella...perfect match to Kismet and Ecume.
