Yves Saint Laurent The Noirs Couleurs Holiday Nail Trio for Winter 2011

YSL Holiday Trio is a collection of three pearlized metallic colors; Black Lapis, Black Indigo and Black Bronze.

Black Lapis is a shimmery darkened navy blue.  I used two coats.  As with all the colors in this collection, Black Lapis goes on darker than it appears in the bottle.

Black Indigo is a shimmery blackened purple.  Another beauty.  This was two coats.

Black Bronze is a deep dark bronze shimmer.  I used two coats for this one, as well.  When I saw Black Bronze, it reminded me of a few other bronzes that have been released recently.  I did a comparison below.

Here are Chanel Or de Russie, Sally Hansen Bronze Ablaze and butter LONDON's Wallis for a side by side comparison with YSL Black Bronze.  YSL Black Bronze is definitely the darkest, it looks like the closest one to it is Chanel Or de Russie.  Sally Hansen Bronze Ablaze is much lighter and butter LONDON Wallis is not only lighter in color, but, it also has a lot more green to it.
