OPI DS Mystery in the bottle

Today, I have DS Mystery by OPI from Fall 2009.  It's a deep rich purple with gold flake glitter.  The purple and gold combination makes it look like a deep brown with gold flake glitter.  And that's exactly what I thought the color would be when I saw it in the bottle.  Imagine my surprise when I applied the first coat to my nails and it went on as purple.  The funny thing about the nail polish is that with two coats it resembles what is seen in the bottle...more of a "brown" color.

Take a look, what do you guys think...purple or brown.  Either way, it's a beauty.
