I picked up this Le Métier de Beauté "Rock 'N Romance" set back in July for the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and am just getting around to swatching it.  I figured I'd make this a "Le Métier de Beauté" week.  This is a mini set of four Le Métier de Beauté colors and was exclusive to Nordstrom.

Ken Downing has created two Le Métier de Beauté nail polish sets, exclusively for Neiman Marcus.  Both sets include a one-of-a-kind gold or silver ornamental leaf.  Today, I have the "Merry Metallics" set.  The set includes four beautiful holiday colors and a sliver ornamental leaf.

nails inc. The Wyndham Collection nail polish

Today, I have the last of the three "holographic" duos from nails inc, The Wyndham Collection.  The Old Vic Collection was reviewed here and The Donmar Collection, here.  This duo is composed of Teal Black Kensington polish and the Wyndham Overglaze.  The Kensington polish is a very deep rich teal color, beautiful on it's own, as well.  The Wyndham Overglaze is made of bright green flakies in different shapes.  The color of these flakes is what made this duo my favorite of all three.

nails inc The Donmar Collection is another "holographic" duo.  If you want to take a look at the Old Vic Collection here.  Today's duo contains Plum Black Chelsea polish as the base and The Donmar Overglaze.  Chelsea is exactly as described, it is a very deep rich dark plum color, almost looks black once two coats are on.  It could be worn alone, as well.  The Donmar Overglaze is full of multi-colored irregularly shaped flakes.

Happy Black Friday!  And Happy Shopping!  

Let's take a look at nails inc. Old Vic Collection.  This is one of three duos available at Sephora for a "holographic" look.  The base color in this duo is patent Black Taxi and the overglaze is Old Vic.  Both of them are stunning.  I really liked Black Taxi, it is super shiny and glossy, even when dry.  It doesn't even require a topcoat.  Old Vic has beautiful flakies that are described as "UV blue holographic particles".  It really is a nice combination.

Sephora Rumba Romance Nail Polish

Happy Thanksgiving!

I got this one from the Sephora sale for five bucks!!!  Sephora by OPI Rumba Romance is from the Havana Nights Summer 2010 Collection.  

Rumba Romance is a warm gold-bronze shimmer.  Although, it was released as a "summer" color, I think it's a great color for the fall season.  It could possibly even be used for the holidays.

Essie Island Hopping nail polish

For Pink Wednesday, I have Essie Island Hopping, since I'm hopping back to New York today.  Va-cay is officially over :(

Essie Island Hopping is from the "It's Better in the Bahamas" collection from summer 2007.  It's a muted deep dusty rose colored creme.  I used three coats for full coverage.

Essie Nude Beach nail polish

Essie Nude Beach is, I think, my first Essie color.  It is just so beautiful, in person.  I don't think pictures do it any justice.  Nude Beach is a beautiful (I know, I know...I keep saying that) sheer pale warm shimmery pink.  I used to use this color pretty much daily, sometimes by itself and sometimes, I'd use it as a base for a fabulous french manicure.  I was obsessed with this color.

Essie Playa de Platinum, for me, is the original chic gray.  It was one of the first grays that I was introduced to.

Playa de Platinum is a warmer light gray, with beige-y undertones.  This one also required three coats for full coverage.

Nails Inc Autumn Winter Colour Collection

L-R: St. Pancras, Charing Cross, Paddington, Fenchurch Street

I totally forgot to do a "harvest-y" color last week.  So, this week, I'm making up for it, since we're one week away from Thanksgiving.  Two of the four colors today are very Thanksgiving appropriate.  Today, I have the Autumn-Winter Colour Collection from Nails, Inc.  This is the other color collection I picked up back in August.

Starting off with my first choice for the harvest color pick.  St. Pancras is a gorgeous deep warm wine creme.  I absolutely adored wearing this one.  It goes on almost opaque in one coat, but I used two to get it to look "perfect".  And it dries super glossy...it is sooooo pretty.

Charing Cross is a beautiful glossy bright tomato red.  This one is also a super saturated color that could've been opaque in one coat, but I used two.  I loved wearing this one, it is very shiny and lasted for days.

Paddington is a deep "khaki gray" creme.   This is darker and murkier than most other grays out there, so it's got a little bit of a twist.  I used two coats here.

Ending with my second harvest color for you guys.  Fenchurch Street is described as a "chic russet creme".  It's perfect for Thanksgiving.  It reminds me of all the fallen leaves at this time of the year, in New England.

The Nails Inc Autumn Winter Colour Collection is available at www.nailsinc.com.  I purchased the set at Sephora.  I think the larger Sephora's in the US carry Nails Inc in the store, but you can also order colors online at www.sephora.com.  Although, I didn't see this particular set online.

Nails Inc. Colour Collection - Neutral

For Pink Wednesday, I'm showing you Elizabeth Street by Nails Inc.  Elizabeth Street is a part of the Neutral Colour Collection that includes three other colors.  I had picked this collection up at Sephora, back in August.  I can't believe that I'm just getting to it.

Elizabeth Street is a sheer warm pale pink creme.  This is a great color that could be used for a French Manicure or could be worn alone for a "your nails, but better" look.  Since, this one is a little on the sheer side, I used three coats to get it somewhat opaque.

Jermyn Street is Nails Inc's best selling color and is described as a "soft luxurious taupe" and "the original 'greige' color".  To me, it also has a slight bit of dusty rose to it.  Two coats gives it full coverage.

The Thames is a "classic cool gray creme".  It's a medium gray, not too dark, not too light.  Two coats and it's nice and opaque.

Porchester Square is a pale soft mushroom creme.  This one is also a really great color.  Gray was the big color for the fall/winter season and this definitely fits the bill.  Another two coater...easy peasy.
