Essie Summer 2012 Collection - 'Bikini So Teeny' Nail Polish

So, the Luau themed birthday was a huge success!  We had such a great time with family and friends.  I made some Piña Colada cupcakes, a Banana Coconut Bread, a Banana Pineapple Bread and a Pineapple Coconut Bread.  We had a beautiful and delicious fruit salad, some dried tropical trail mix and chocolate covered macadamia nuts.  For the kids, there were rainbow goldfish, pretzel sticks to mimic bamboo sticks and some Pirate's Booty!  And that was just appetizers and snacks!  My husband decided to mix up a pitcher of Mai Tai's for all the adults and we also had a twist on a traditional mimosa...pineapple juice with proseco.  It was definitely a fun time, had by all...haha.  Oh, and the cake was beyond beautiful...I actually held my breath when I went to pick it up.

Moving onto our nail color for the day...perfect for a Hawaiian Luau party recovery day.  Essie Bikini So Teeny from the Essie Summer 2012 Collection.  Bikini So Teeny is a beautiful powder blue with a slight periwinkle tinge to it.  In the bottle, there is silver micro-glitter to be seen, but once on the nail, it appears more of a creme.  I used two easy coats here.
