Nails Inc. Foubert's Place Nail Polish

Happy Saturday...hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.  It's going to be a very busy weekend at our house...two kids' birthday parties, back to back, dinner plans with friends and family is visiting and company is coming for dinner on Sunday!  Whew!  I'm going to need a weekend from my weekend.  Busy...busy...busy!

I have a color...the opposite of my weekend.  Nails Inc. Foubert's Place is a calm, neutral olive-y dark gray creme.  Foubert's Place goes on a little sheer at first, but will have full coverage with three coats.

Nails Inc. Foubert's Place is available at Sephora for $9.50.

Nails Inc. The Hurlingham Nail Polish

Happy Friday!
To celebrate the end of the work week, I have a nice festive color.  Nails Inc. The Hurlingham is a bright orange-y tomato red creme.  Also, a very saturated color and covered almost completely with just one coat. I used two coats here.

Nails Inc. Haymarket Nail Polish

Continuing with the Nails Inc. trend for the week, today I have another beauty!  Nails Inc. Haymarket is a part of the Nails Inc. permanent collection.  It's a hard color to stay away from...it sort of calls you when you lay your eyes on it.

Nails Inc. Haymarket is a saturated milky minty green creme.  One of the easiest colors to apply and will take your breath away as it is applied to each and every nail.  I used two coats here for full coverage.

Nails Inc. Neon and Nude Collection

The Nails Inc. Neon and Nude Collection is a six piece mini collection that contains three "nude" colors and three "neon" colors.  They can be worn together for a funky french or on their own.  I tried to take a stab at the funky french, but it didn't look right at ALL.  So, I have all six colors swatched one by one.

Now, the only question is...nudes first or neons first?

Let's do the nudes first, since they are the ones in the top row and my OCD personality has to have things organized...lol.

Nails Inc. Porchester Square is described as a "muted mushroom" and its a nice warm saturated grey creme.  I used two very easy coats here.
Nails Inc. Porchester Square
Nails Inc. Cadogan Square is described as a "classic camel".  Cadogan Square is a warm caramel creme.  This one was a little bit more sheer than Porchester Square and I used three coats here.
Nails Inc. Cadogan Square
Nails Inc. Jermyn Street is described as a "perfect taupe".  Jermyn Street reminds me of milk chocolate with the slightest bit of dusty rose mixed in.
Nails Inc Jermyn Street
Nails Inc. Portobello is described as a "coral neon".  This bright coral is a satin finished jelly.  Since, it is slightly on the sheer side, I used three coats here.  Portobello dries to a soft satin finish and will need a topcoat for a glossy finish.
Nails Inc. Portobello
Nails Inc. Notting Hill Gate is described as a "pink neon".  Notting HIll Gate is also a jelly and requires three coats and a topcoat for the glossy finish.
Nails Inc Notting Hill Gate
Nails Inc. Westbourne Grove is described as an "orange neon".  To me, Westbourne Grove is more of a orange-peach neon.  The camera could NOT capture this at all...it's coming out more of a orange-yellow.
This is three coats with a topcoat here.
Nails Inc. Westbourne Grove
The Nails Inc. Neon and Nude Collection is available at Sephora for $25.00.

Nails Inc Spring Collection - Baker Street and Notting Hill Carnival nail polish

Nails Inc has two beautiful colors for the Spring 2012 collection.  Baker Street and Notting Hill Carnival.

Nails Inc Baker Street is a beautiful vibrant cobalt blue creme.  I used two coats here for complete coverage.  Such a gorgeous color that even Beyonce couldn't keep her hands away.
PIC: Beyonce Honors Daughter Blue Ivy With Blue Nail Polish!

Nails Inc. Baker Street
Nails Inc. Notting Hill Carnival is a very pretty light yellow creme.  It dries slightly darker on the nail than appears in the bottle.  Since, it is a pastel yellow, there is some streaking issues that a couple of coats won't take care of.  I used three coats here for complete even coverage.
Nails Inc Notting Hill Carnival
Nails Inc Baker Street and Notting Hill Carnival are available at Sephora.  Each shade retails for $9.50.

Essie Resort 2012 Collection

Let's take a peek at Essie's Resort 2012 Collection.  The collection is made up of 4 colors...in the pink and blue/purple families.  The colors are Essie Pink-A-Boo, Essie Sure Shot, Essie She's Picture Perfect and Essie No More Film.

Starting with the pinks, here is the lighter of the two.  Essie Pink-A-Boo is a pale sheer baby pink loaded with iridescent silver micro glitter that changes from blue to purple, depending on the light.  I have to warn you, it is very sheer and slightly streaky.  I used three coats here.
Essie Pink-A-Boo

Essie Pink-A-Boo
Here is the darker of the two pinks.  Essie Sure Shot is a shimmer metallic bright fuchsia.  It was not as hard to apply and here is two coats.
Essie Sure Shot
Moving onto the blue/purple aspect of the collection.  Essie She's Picture Perfect is a pale dusky periwinkle leaning lavender creme with nice bright pink/purple shimmer.  This was also a breeze to apply.  Here is three thin coats.
Essie She's Picture Perfect

Essie She's Picture Perfect
Essie No More Film is a deep beautiful purple navy blue cream.  No More Film is super pigmented and could be a one coater, but I used two coats here.  It is showing up more blue than purple, but in person, it does have that slightest tinge of purple to it.

The Essie Resort 2012 Collection is now available at all Essie retailers.  Each color retails for around $8.00.

OPI NYC Ballet Soft Shades Collection for Spring 2012

I've got three of the new OPI NYC Ballet Soft Shades Collection colors today.  It seems that they are all very soft and sheer colors.  I picked up two of the sheers and the one glitter topcoat of the collection.

OPI Care to Danse? is a very sheer pale pink color.  It seems a little cool and purple leaning in the bottle, but goes on as a soft pink.  I used three coats here.
OPI Care to Danse?
OPI My Pointe Exactly is also a pale soft sheer dove grey.  I really like My Pointe Exactly and wore it as a full mani with OPI Pirouette My Whistle.  It's such a great combination.  Here is three coats.
OPI My Pointe Exactly
OPI Pirouette My Whistle is the glitter topcoat that is a part of NYC Ballet Soft Shades Collection.  It is  milky, yet a clear with round shiny silver micro glitter and hexagon satin-finish larger glitter pieces.

A couple of purples from the CVS Exclusive Nicole by OPI Kardashican Kolors Kollection for this Saturday.

Nicole by OPI One Big Happy Fame-ily is a pretty light purple with tons of silver micro-shimmer.  A really pretty pastel for the spring time.  I used three coats here for full coverage.
One Big Happy Fame-ily
Nicole by OPI Back to Reality...TV is a dusty purplish periwinkle blue with a nice pink shimmer.  Back to Reality...TV is slightly dark for a spring color, but still fun.  I also used three coats for full coverage.

China Glaze The Hunger Games Collection - Fast Track nail polish

China Glaze Fast Track is a pale beige with a beautiful gold micro-glitter.  I really liked this color, because it's the closest to my skin tone and probably the most "neutral" looking on me.  I really adored the golden glitter...just the right amount of sparkle for a perfect nude.  I wore this with a beautiful sand/beige/dusty grayish slate blue striped linen sweater and it was absolute perfection.  Here is three coats of Fast Track.
China Glaze Fast Track
China Glaze Fast Track is now available at all China Glaze retailers for around $6.00.

China Glaze The Hunger Games Collection - Luxe and Lush nail polish

China Glaze Luxe and Lush is a clear polish with irregularly shaped iridescent flakies that remind me of little shards of glass.  The flakies change color depending on how you move your hands.  The polish is a little bit thick, but that makes the flake pieces easier to apply.  Since, it is a sheer, I've layered it two different polishes.  You will definitely need a topcoat over this to get a glossy and smooth look.  Luxe and Lush dries slightly dull and also is a little bumpy on it's own.

China Glaze The Hunger Games Collection - Stone Cold nail polish

Continuing on with The Hunger Games Collection.  Today, I have China Glaze Stone Cold.  I am absolutely in love with this color.  It has a matte finish to it once it dries.  Stone Cold is my absolute favorite of this collection.  It reminds me of MAC Military from the Alice + Olivia Collection that was released about two years ago...and like an idiot, I never got MAC Military.  Back then, I thought "what am I going to do with a matte grey shimmer?"

Well, China Glaze Stone Cold has filled that void.

China Glaze Stone Cold is a matte cool grey shimmer.  The name fits is perfectly, once on the nails, it definitely looks like a piece of cold stone.  Another easy one to apply...two coats of perfection.

China Glaze Stone Cold is now available at all China Glaze retailers for around $6.00.

China Glaze The Hunger Games Collection - Smoke and Ashes nail polish

China Glaze Smoke and Ashes is a black jelly base with turquoise colored micro glitter.  Smoke and Ashes was also very very easy to apply.  It sort of reminded me of Cult Nails Living Water.  Although, I did not do a side by side...it seems that they are both very similar.  This is two coats here.

Today, we are starting with China Glaze Agro.  What a perfect metallic deep olive green with micro shimmer.  It was beyond easy to apply.  Here is two coats.

Revlon Runway Pearl
I found Revlon Runway Pearl at Harmon Beauty.  I haven't seen it anywhere else, yet.  I'm sure Runway Pearl will be available at all Revlon retailers soon.  Revlon Runway Pearl retails for around $4.00.

YSL Manicure Couture Duo #7 - "Candy Face" nail polish

My green nail polish pick for St. Patty's Day this year comes from YSL Manicure Couture Duo #7 from the Spring 2012 Candy Face Collection.  The two colors are Mint Green and Chocolatey Brown.

YSL Mint Green is a beautiful shimmery jade green with the slightest bit of iridescence to it.  It's a very sexy color!  The polish itself is very pigmented and a little thick.  There was very good coverage with just one coat, but I used two coats here.
YSL Duo #7 - Mint Green
YSL Chocolatey Brown is a deep dark rich brown creme.  This was is also very well pigmented and I used two coats here.
YSL Duo #7 - Chocolaty Brown
Since the duos are meant to be worn together...here is a Mint Chocolate French manicure!

OPI Spring 2012 Holland Collection - Thanks A Windmillion

Today I have another color from the OPI Holland Collection for Sping 2012.  Initially, I only got OPI I Have A Herring Problem and OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know? (posted here).  Then when I was at my local beauty store to get a few of the new China Glaze Hunger Games colors (yes, I finally got my hands on them), I saw OPI Thanks A Windmillion again and this time, I decided to give it a try.

OPI Thanks A Windmillion is a dusky pale sea foam green creme.  I used two coats here for full coverage.
OPI Thanks A Windmillion

MAC Chenman Collection - Breezy Blue Nail Polish

For the new MAC Chenman Collection, they've introduced two nail polish colors for it, a blue and a pink.  The pink one seemed very similar to a lot other pinks that I already have, so I only picked up Breezy Blue.

MAC Breezy Blue is a bright navy creme with just the right amount of purple mixed in.  Although, it is a darker color, it is still very vibrant.  I used two coats here.

MAC Breezy Blue
MAC Breezy Blue, along with the rest of the Chenman Collection is now available at all MAC counters and stores.  The polish retails for $15.00.

Dior Plaza is a warm slightly muted hot pink creme.  It was beyond easy to apply and this is two coats here.  Nice and summer-y!  Perfect for today's weather in New York...it's beautiful out there.

Cult Nails Super Powers Collection

So, yesterday's post finally inspired me to get the Cult Nails Super Powers Collection onto these pages. The collection is composed of four colors, including Clairvoyant!  Cult Nails Clairvoyant has become a "cult" favorite and become a collector's item...it is COMPLETELY sold out and most likely will not be back.  The other colors include Power Thief,  Mind Control and Time Traveler.

Cult Nails Power Thief is a light milk chocolate brown with tons of silver shimmer.  It was easy to apply and I used two coats here.
Cult Nails Power Thief

Cult Nails Mind Control is a dark eggplant purple with iridescent purple-pink shimmer.  Also an easy one to apply and two coats here.
Cult Nails Mind Control

Cult Nails Time Traveler is a rich deep navy creme.  As expected, also just a two coater and gorgeous!
Cult Nails Time Traveler

Now for the star of the collection, Cult Nails Clairvoyant is a blue-purple sheer jelly loaded with multi-colored flakies.  It is just beautiful, especially over other similarly colored creme colors.

Hope you enjoyed these!

Cult Nail Let's Get Nekkid! Collection

I'm so behind on my Cult Nails nail polishes.  Another new collection (Divas and Drama Collection) from Cult Nails is already on pre-order and I still haven't gotten to the Super Powers Winter 2011 Collection, yet...with the infamous Clairvoyant!  That's for another day.  To get on track...I'm bringing you the Cult Nails Let's Get Nekkid! Collection...love the name!  The collection is made up of four colors inspired by all the different skin tones and then there is a fabulous glitter...a GREEN glitter!  The colors include Mazo, Baker, Tulum, Swanbourne and Toxic Seaweed.

Cult Nails Mazo is a sheer golden beige with gold glitter.  It is the lightest color of the collection.  Since it is a sheer, I used three coats here.
Cult Nails Mazo

Cult Nails Baker is a warmer peachy beige, also with the same gold glitter all throughout the polish.  I think this one matches me the closest in color and name, Baker...I love to bake!  This one was a little sheer, as well.  Here is three coats.
Cult Nails Baker

Cult Nails Tulum is a grayish taupe-y brown creme with gold glitter.  This one is along the lines of the "it" color for most people...a"greige-esqe" color.  Tulum was definitely more saturated than Mazo and Baker, so only two coats were needed for full coverage.
Cult Nails Tulum

Cult Nails Swanbourne is the darkest of all and is a rich dark chocolate creme with gold glitter.  Perfect coverage in two coats.
Cult Nails Swanbourne

Finally, the "crazy" of the collection is Toxic Seaweed.  Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed is a bright emerald green jelly LOADED with crazy!  It is full of silver, green and blue glitter AND multi-colored flakies.
I used three coats here.  It does dry with a slightly matte finish, so a topcoat is needed for a glossy finish.
Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed

Cult Nails Toxic Seaweed

Cult Nails Let's Get Nekkid! Collection can be purchased at www.cultnails.com for $45.00 or each individual color can be purchased for $10.00...even Toxic Seaweed!
