Priti NYC 'Grand Slam Kit'

Here is a really cute Tennis inspired set of four colors from Priti NYC.  The colors included in the set are Barbarossa, Peporomia Pixie, White Ballet Dahlia and Miss Jeckyl.

Priti NYC Barbarossa is from the Fall 2011 Collection and is described as a "rusty orange with opalescent shine".  Barbarossa a really pretty muted ginger-y orange with a subtle shimmer.  Barbarossa was the first color that I picked to wear, it really called out to me.  Here is three coats of Barbarossa.
Priti NYC Barbarossa

Priti NYC Peporomia Pixie is originally from the Summer 2011 collection and is described as a "bright grass green".  Peporomia Pixie is a bright forest-y grass green creme.  I'm also a lover of green colors, so this was my second choice to wear.  Here is two coats of Peporomia Pixie.
Priti NYC Peporomia Pixie
Priti NYC White Ballet Dahlia is described as an "opaque white".  It's a perfect creamy white crelly...it's not quite a creme and not quite a jelly, which makes it less streaky than most white cremes.  I used three coats for full opacity.  I've been wearing White Ballet Dahlia on my toes and am loving the look of it, as a pedicure.
Priti NYC White Ballet Dahlia
Priti NYC Miss Jeckyl is from the Spring 2011 Collection and is described as a "sheer neon blue".  Miss Jeckyl is a bright turquoise tinged blue jelly.  It went on very sheer with the first coat and could give a unique sheer look to the nails.  I ended up using three coats to build up opacity.
Priti NYC Miss Jeckyl
The Priti NYC Grand Slam Kit can be purchased  here for $37.50, or the colors can be purchased separately for $12.50 each.

Zoya 'Paz' Nail Polish

How was everyone's weekend?  Another Monday here!  I can't believe we're at the end of the month already!  August is literally right around the corner.  Where has this summer gone to?

Today, I have an oldie, but a goodie from Summer 2009, Zoya Paz.  Paz was a part of the Zoya La-Di-Da Collection, back in 2009.  Zoya Paz is a very bright traffic cone orange neon creme.  As with most neon colors, it dried to a semi-matte finish.  A topcoat will give a nice glossy look.  I used three coats here.
Zoya Paz

Zoya Paz
Zoya Paz can be purchased at www.zoya.com for $8.00.

NOTD: Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie

I'm sporting Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie on my nails today.  Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie was created by a nail polish/beauty blogger for Rescue Beauty Lounge a couple of years ago...it was limited edition and sold out like hot cakes and was no more.  Then, last year, by popular demand it was brought back for an even shorter time period before it was sold out, again.  I was able to grab Scrangie the second time around.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie is described as a "medium blue-based purple with green iridescence and green micro shimmer".  It is a very pretty combination and was inspired by the colors of a beetle's wing.  I used three coats here.

diorpurples5

diorpurples4

Today I have the three colors from Dior's Les Violets Hypnotiques Collection, exclusively for Nordstrom that I also picked up from the Anniversary Sale.  The Collection is made up of three "violet" themed colors and are all beautiful for Fall.

Starting with Dior Orchid, which is described as "a sensual, luminous plum".  Dior Orchid is a deep burgundy purple creme.  I used two coats here.
Dior Orchid
Dior Poison is described as "a deeply, enchanting purple".  Poison is a rich deep royal purple creme.  It's dark enough to be the perfect vampy purple, but does not appear black.  I used two super easy coats here and it is beyond gorgeous.
Dior Poison
Dior Shadow is described as "an intense, shimmering purple".  Dior Shadow is definitely my favorite of the trio.  Shadow is a gorgeous mix of shimmery-ness combined with a dusty warm purple.  It is breathtaking in person and here is two coats of this beauty.
Dior Shadow
The Dior Les Violets Hypnotiques Collection is a Nordstorm exclusive and can be purchased at the Dior counters in store or at  www.nordstrom.com.  Each color retails for $23.00 each.

NARS Fall 2012 - 'Storm Bird' Nail Polish

Happy Monday!

Here we are again, another Monday, another week.  It feels like the time is just flying by...we're almost at the end of July, ALREADY!  And with the end of July comes the Nordstrom's Anniversary Sale.  I finally was able to get to my local Nordstrom and picked up this beauty for today.  NARS Storm Bird for Fall 2012.  Although, the NARS Fall Collection has not been released to department stores, yet and is only available on the NARS website, Nordstrom's was able to get the entire Fall 2012 Collection for the Anniversary Sale.

NARS Storm Bird is described as a "moody gray".  Storm Bird is a beautiful medium gray creme.  It's not too light and not too dark.  Just perfect!  Storm Bird is much lighter than last year's NARS Galion.  I used two coats for full coverage.
NARS Storm Bird
NARS Storm Bird is available now at Nordstrom, www.nordstrom.com and www.narscosmetics.com for $18.00.

Zoya Caitlin Nail Polish

I've had Zoya Caitlin from the Zoya Intimate Collection for spring 2011, since last year and have never posted about this beauty.  Zoya Caitlin is described as a "misty, moody grey violet creme".  To me, Caitlin is more of a dusky periwinkle with some violet undertones.  It's super pretty for the summer and it only took two easy coats for this look.
Zoya Caitlin
Zoya Caitlin is available at www.zoya.com or Zoya retailers and can be purchased for around $8.00.

Julep Ellie and Kylie Nail Polish Colors

I know it's July, but these two colors are from my May Julep Maven box and I'm finally getting around to posting these colors.  The two colors that came in the Maven Box are Julep Ellie and Julep Kylie.

Julep Ellie is described as an "opalescent seashell pink with a holographic shimmer".  Ellie is a sheer pink/beige opalescent color, but I don't really see the holographic shimmer.  It can be a great everyday neutral if you wanted a change from the pale pink or beige cremes.  Here is two coats of Julep Ellie.
Julep Ellie
Julep Kylie is described as "a sultry violet magnetic polish".  Kylie is a slightly dusky medium violet color with micro magnetic particles.  I lost my little magnet that came with the color, so here is two coats of Kylie.  The only issue I had with Kylie was the brush...it was really bushy and difficult to use.
Julep Kylie
Julep Ellie and Kylie can be purchased at www.julep.com or at some Sephora stores.  Each color retails for $14.00 each.

Cult Nails Fairytale Collection

Hey everybody, the newest Cult Nails collection, Coco's Untamed Collection, is available at www.cultnails.com today.  So, I figured I'd finally post the Cult Nails Fairytale Collection, that just came out about a month ago.  The Fairytale Collection is made up of four colors and one glitter topcoat.

Starting with Cult Nails Princess.  Princess is a dusty pale blue with a rust orange shimmer.  I'm a huge fan of blues and greens, so this is beautifully perfect for me.  I used two coats here.
Cult Nails Princess
Next up, Cult Nails Charming is a pretty lavender purple with a subtle similarly colored shimmer.  Charming went one slightly more sheer than any of the other colors, so I used three coats here.
Cult Nails Charming
Cult Nails Feelin' Froggy is a nice bright kelly green with a green shimmer, as well.  Feelin' Froggy applied beautifully and here is two coats.
Cult Nails Feelin' Froggy
Cult Nails Evil Queen is a nice red creme with a slightest pink undertone.  Evil Queen also was super easy to apply and here is two coats.
Cult Nails Evil Queen
Cult Nails Happy Ending a multi-colored shredded glitter.  I used one coat over each of the colors here.

Dior Summer Mix 2012 - Acapulco and Lagoon Nail Vernis

Today, I have two of the four colors from Dior's Summer Mix 2012 Collection.  These colors are supposed to give a "gloss" look to the nails.  I've always found Dior colors VERY easy to apply...the brush is exceptional!  And I couldn't wait to try Dior Acapulco and Dior Lagoon.

Dior Acapulco is a bright sunny yellow jelly/gloss.  I really liked the look of it with just one coat, it gave nice hint of glossy color to the nails.  I ended up using two coats of Acapulco and it's still a mouth watering jelly bean look.
Dior Acapulco

Dior Acapulco
Dior Lagoon is a creamy light teal/peacock tinged turquoise.  Lagoon applied more to a creme finish than a jelly/gloss.  I would've loved it to be more jelly-esque.  Here is two coats of Lagoon.

Dior Lagoon
Dior Acapulco and Dior Lagoon can be purchased at Bloomingdale's and at www.dior.com for $23.00 each.

Chanel Les Essentiels De Chanel for Fall 2012 - Frenzy, Vertigo and Suspicious Nail Colors

Happy Monday.  Hopefully everyone had a great weekend.

I'm totally loving the new Fall nail colors from Chanel.  The Les Essentiels De Chanel Collection includes three new colors, two of them I'm totally obsessed with, the third is mmmeeehhh, for me.

The three colors are Chanel Frenzy, Chanel Vertigo and Chanel Suspicious.

Chanel Frenzy has been described as "a lavender taupe grey hybrid".  Frenzy is a nice light beige-y grey creme, I don't really see the lavender to it, though.  It applied a little sheer at first, but built up nicely after three coats.  LOVING Frenzy!
Chanel Frenzy
Chanel Vertigo is a gorgeous deep dark rich grey with undertones of a brownish/army green murkiness.  Vertigo also includes a subtle deep red micro shimmer.  The color itself is beautiful and so unique.  The red micro shimmer gives it a nice new dimension...although it is more apparent in the bottle; it can be seen on the nail is direct light.  Here is two coats of Chanel Vertigo.  LOVING Vertigo.
Chanel Vertigo
Chanel Suspicious is a reddish raspberry colored creme.  Suspicious definitely seems more of a summer color, but will be a great punch of color with all the fall tones.  Suspicious covered nicely and evenly with two easy coats.  Out of the three colors, Suspicious is the only one that I'm not totally loving.
Chanel Suspicious
The Chanel Les Essentiels De Chanel for Fall 2012 Collection can be purchased at www.neimanmarcus.com.  Each of the nail colors can be purchased for $26.00.

Rescue Beauty Lounge 'Georgia On My Mind Collection' - Jack In The Pulpit and Ghost Ranch Nail Polish

Happy Friday...the weekend is here...WOOHOO!

Today, I have the last two colors from the Rescue Beauty Lounge Georgia On My Mind Collection. Take a peek at the first three, Oriental Poppy, Bella Donna and Faraway Nearby here and Santa Fe Road and Abiquiu here.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Jack In The Pulpit is a deep bluish toned hunter green with a teal micro shimmer.  Jack In The Pulpit covered in two easy coats and will be gorgeous for the Fall.
Rescue Beauty Lounge Jack In The Pulpit
And finally, Rescue Beauty Lounge Ghost Ranch.  Ghost Ranch is a rich delicious milk chocolate-y color with mostly a golden-bronze shimmer and the slightest multi-colored shimmer.  The shimmer in Ghost Ranch more apparent than all the other shimmer colors in this collection and at first gives it an almost frost like look.  Once dry, Ghost Ranch loses all the stroke lines and is just the most gorgeous shimmery brown.  Here is two coats of Ghost Ranch.
Rescue Beauty Lounge Ghost Ranch
The Rescue Beauty Lounge Georgia On My Mind Collection will be available soon at www.rescuebeauty.com.  Each color retails for $20.00.

Until next time...
