YSL Spring 2013 Arty Stone Collection Nail Colours

Continuing with the Spring Collections, today let's take a look at the pretties from YSL.  The Spring 2013 Arty Stone Collection by YSL is inspired by precious jewels.  The two nail colors also bear the names of natural stones...Jade and Pyrite.  These two nail colors from this collection are a departure from most other Spring collections out there with bright or pastel colors, since these are more subdued.

YSL Jade Impérial is described as a "light turquoise".  It's definitely has more of that jade green to it than turquoise.  I would describe Jade Impérial as a muted dusty, sage-jade green creme.  Here is two coats of Jade Impérial.

YSL Bronze Pyrite is described as a "grey blue".  I agree with the grey part, but not the blue part.  To me, Bronze Pyrite is a warm, light moss-grey metallic.  It applied super easy and was opaque with just ONE coat.  Yes, this is just one coat here.

YSL Jade Impérial and Bronze Pyrite are available now at all YSL counters.  Each color retails for $25.00.

Until next time...

  1. Among these two nail colors, I think I like the second one. Simple yet classy. Love the color for it looks light and warm.
